Earlier in the week I got in a nice run up South Mesa Trail to Shadow Canyon in a solid time for me, so I seem to be doing something right.

Tues: Ran for 45 3/4 min., 5x round block plus extra distance. AHR 136. Stretching & strengthening exercises.
Wed: Slow w-up then 2x 6' - 7' runs. Shorter run for 24:09 altogether. AHR 132 MHR 145. Stretching following.
Thur: Cycle 6 plus miles, no run.
Fri: Ran for 37:14 over same route as Mon. w-up for 4 1/2 min., 4x 5' - 9' tempo runs. AHR for overall run was 142. MHR 157. Made some of the pickups quick leg turnover. Stretching following.
Sat: Short run today, pressed for time. Varied pace, stretching following. 23:42. AHR 135 MHR 152
Sun: Out & back, nearly a min. quicker returning. 45:47. AHR 138 MHR 149
Week started off wintry & ended very springlike. Got my first flat of the year on Sat and rode my last half mile y'day on a slow-leaking back tire. Dang. Winter debris is a pain.

Was supposed to have done 13 Sunday, but the day got away from me, and the next thing I knew, it was 8:00 pm.
I'm feeling stronger, and smoother. I have ben having soem knee pain, but I think that it was the shoes that I was in, and I've taken them back.
