I am a senior distance runner at a small college. I have been in the best shape of my life over the past few months but have been sucking it up completely in races. This past week was my spring break and I was so depressed and discouraged about my race I barely ran over that week. 30 miles total with one "hard workout" which consisted of 8 400s any where from 59 - 85 with whatever recovery i felt like. Now I am feeling better about running and life in general and am regretting slacking off...is this going to effect my season a lot?
