Not to restate the obvious, and what's been stated, but Cheney and Rumsfeld are vivid proof that experience can be very overrated.
The less time a candidate has been a congressman, the more I like them! These guys get washed up from being in Washington too long. We need someone who isn't part of the political aristocracy or the "establishment." Obama and Richardson fit that role nicely, I think.
