Never heard of this singer Katherine Jenkins before, but she is quite a looker:

I guess they're just all British celebrities that don't come up in the US much...

Andrew Strauss was the ex-England cricket captain, so, on as a global figure, probably more famous than any NFL player ever.

i do have an updated list.
i did the following:
1) added a couple people
2) updated the chicago corral times
3) updated the "guaranteed" entry times for ny and removed the 2010 times
4) corrected a couple times that were out of place
i will post it in a little bit, if anyone has a few suggestions to add post that as well and maybe they could be added.
(just to make this thread easier to search for: celebrity marathon times, famous people who have run a marathon, beat, who have run a marathon, oprah, puff daddy, diddy, sean combs, finished a marathon, what was time? celebrity runners)

We will bump you. Looking forward to an updated list.
How about this guy:
J Button
Mar 2:58:34 c 66 Honolulu HI, USA Honolulu Marathon 9 Dec 12
One more thing, did you add Dana Carvey's 1972 time? He has been mentioned a few times. I went looking for a website to confirm his time but could not find it. The time is far enough back that I might not expect it to be on a website with results. I was hoping to find an interview with him where he confirmed it. I could not find one.
I also looked for Alan Paige's time on different sites and could not find a good site to confirm it.
I think I read earlier in a post they did not make the list because they were not verifiable times. If anyone has a link post it.
Did Teri Hatcher run a marathon? I have seen some references to her doing one, but it may be confused gossip writers talking about a tri.

Sam W?????
Update?
Even if it's not a big update please do it anyway.
How about adding the qualifying times for the Gansett Marathon?
http://www.gansettmarathon.com/gansett-marathon-ri-qualifying-information.htm
This appears to be one of the few marathons with qualifying times and that is the ONLY way to get into the race.
Qualifying standards

35-39 3:05 3:35
40-44 3:10 3:40

London also has guaranteed entries for UK residents who run certain times, and they are tougher than Boston!
I almost forgot, the Commonwealth Games qualifiers:
