After missing 7 weeks of running because of a stress fracture in my ankle I began running again this week. I have only been running a mile to 2.5 miles each day, along with pool running 50 minutes every day and physical therapy 2 days a week.
This week my coach wants me to start running a little more(3 to 5 miles a day)
When i rub the spot on my ankle where the stress fracture is, there is some mild pain. Is this normal? How long sould it last?
My other question is, am I trying to come back to fast?
