that trainer who was porking Madonna must have made a ton of money. I'd say $100K at least.
However, I'd put a personal trainer on a full time salaried position in the $50K range.

There's no such thing as a salaried trainer. Beginning trainers make around $10-12 hour for assigned appointments and $20-25 for self generated clients. The goal is always to bump up self generated clients and not take the appointed ones. If you can get 40 hours of these, you might go to $30 per. The only way to make real money as a trainer is to go solo. (Private apts in your home or theirs) This way no one is taking around half your pay. If you can do this, up to $100/ hour is realistic in the larger/ritzier cities.
