Im a recruited walk-on. I ran a 1:56.23 as a junior in h/s and a 1:56.43 as a senior then got hurt three days later.. my junior and senior year i ran 10-18 MPW during track... I also ran a 16:16 5k XC running 35 MPW...
I have been doing 40-45 MPW this summer and now i have been running a base of 60-65 Mpw since school started...We have been doing 200's once a week easy...so not much speed..and i havent been hurt thus far..
I have a meet and i need to run a 1:54 to make the team.. it has to be indoor... i have two meets to do it..
my indoor pr is 1:57.3
My 400 pr is 49.7
my 200 pr is 22.9
my 1600 is 4:25...
Is it possible to run a 1:54 indoor with no speed training yet and only in two meets?
