Let's be honest. Lance goes to "Eleven". "Well normal cyclists go to ten". No..... Eleven... Eleven.... Eleven....
how much EPO you got?
wh gives a shit, why dont you go fly out to ny , go to him and ask him before the race, really why do you idolize him that much, yeah he's a great cyclist, but not a great runner, you should be asking who is goona win, get a life
Damn, just when I thought every topic has been discussed on LetsRun, someone comes up with something straight out of left field. This topic has never been discussed here before ... thank you for bringing this original topic to the attention of our readers.

He's the besticle!
Riding a bike and running use different muscle sets. I would say because he is well conditioned Lance will probably run a 2:50+ marathon. A 2:30 is not a realistic time for lance. Heck, Steve Holman who has run a 3:31 1500 just managed 2:30 for the marathon.
We will never found out what he COULD run for a marathon because he isn't going to train single-mindedly for one. He is just half-training to turn in a respectable recreational effort. Why is anyone under the impression he gives a damn about running as fast as he can?
I say he could run in the 2:20's if he trained with the focus he trained for the Tour. He will run a 3:05.
