Edinboro will have some trouble this year dealing with Monroe, Dinzeo, Gillette, Fezza, and Kehl. You are disturbed if you don't think the loss of Anderson and Hahn will effect your performances at PSAC's.

It's not like they won the 1500, 5k, and 10k last year and scored 43 points total in the distance events. With more depth than any team in those events that total should stay close to the same even without Hahn and Anderson. Also looks like they have some solid Multi Event guys and a jumper so I wouldn't be suprised if they are top 5[/quote]
Yea they got those points last yr but if u look they had no depth. No one placed after Anderson in the 1500, no one after Hahn in the 5k and only diebel and Thomas r back who placed in the other distance events. Besides the steeple where they had 2 guys who both placed. Can't really say right now on paper that they r much of a threat in distance events. Hopefully Evan miller will be back bc he should place well in the 15 or 8.
The White Mamba gonna be the comeback kid of the year...you heard it hear first
And the white mamba is who exactly?
Ha good one. With Monroe, Fezza, Dinzeo, Gillette in the mix, Good luck...
Rumor has it that the infamous Shizzy is quitting his job and going back to Ship and that he has made a plea to the NCAA and will be getting another year of eligibility in track. Can anyone confirm/deny?
Who is shizzy?
I guess it's not true if no one is saying who shizzy even is
Hope to god The Shizzy comes back. Nothing like watching that guy gallop.
With psac championships being a lil over a month away lets get the serious talk back on the thread
800- jewel
mile- gillette
3k-monroe, dinzeo, gillette, fezza. Whoever is most fresh.
5k-Monroe
dmr-Ship
4x8- no clue
Need to put Zondlo in the 3k mix, if he's in shape, he's someone vying for win. Already won it once before

They have no depth in those events according to the results. And despite them winning a couple of events and scoring 43 points, ship scored 69 points in the distance events. The loss of Hahn and Anderson will most definitely hurt them.
Moving on..
Predictions:
800-Flott. Provo right out of the gates and has shown consistent improvement throughout the years.
mile-Gillette. 3:46 1500 last year and huge breakthrough season in cross country this year.
3k-Heated battle between Monroe, Gillette, Dinzeo and Zondlo. This one is anybody's race for the taking. I'll go with Zondlo because he'll probably be the freshest. Who knows where his fitness will be though. I'm just going off of what he can do if he gets really fit again.
5k-Heated battle between Monroe and Dinzeo. I'll go with Dinzeo if he holds it together for the whole season. Hopefully he won't fall to that "fast times early in the season" curse. 14:19 is fast.
ESU's DMR team is going to be very solid this year also having fezza 4:12 miler, multiple guys who have went under 4:20 and then Saparito a 1:52 guy not to mention the 400 guy who went 47 at PSAC maybe a dark horse?

Wat r u smoking fezza hasn't run 4:12 he ran 4:15 2 yrs ago, sparito only ran 1:53 last yr and in indoors last yr they didn't have anyone under 4:20. He 47 outdoors only ran 49 indoors. Not really seeing dark horse from them.
Is Saparito even going to be healthy this indoor season? He was out last indoor season and I believe his facebook hinted at another injury. Is this true?
fezza may not have ever run a 4:12 but based off of his cross season it wouldnt surprise me to see him run that or faster. saparito is a former psac champion so that is going to be a strong leg too. the 400 runner is the real deal too. and no matter how you look at it is the the second best returning in the confrence. Amr Aldeen has ran a 4:15 mile also. they should have a team that could be able to compete with ships. not necessarily saying they can beat ship, but they will also have a very strong DMR

I don't think you realize how quick sub 8 is for a 3K. I'd guess he could go 8:12-8:15 if he got in a fast race at Penn State.
How you like me nah?
