To go with those 3 golds...another in the 4X800 meter relay...and an overall team title...freaking nuts!!!
what about a win in the 2mile/3200m, shot put, triple jump and 4x100
Justin Taylor won the the state meet in Florida in all 3 back in 2005.
Gabe Jennings won all three in WI in 1996.
I'm pretty sure Joe Falcon did it at the MO state meet in the mid- to late 1980s.
Ben Clark did it in Arizona, for Prescott High, back in 2003, I think it was. He also handed out the programs, raked the long jump pit and announced the events. He had an incredible state meet.
Jason Pyrah did it was back
I think Merideth Snow did it in Missouri last year as a junior (2005).
What are the winning times. That makes a difference. I'm sure it would be much more difficult to win this triple in some states than in others.
Could someone run 2:11- 4:33-9:38 like in New York? All in two days.
Sarah Bowman did it last year in the VA AA state meet.
Catherine White repeated that feat this year.
bobby curtis his senior year in KY
George Mollner from DeSmet South Dakota did it in 1999 and he came within a tenth of a second from winning the 400m as well. Class A South Dakota is not super compedative I know but, he ran a 1:57, and 50.xx prelim Friday afternoon to go along with a 9:45. Then 4:25, 1:56, and 49.low on Saturday. Pretty impressive racer. He then went on to SDSU and accomplished absolutely nothing.
The Ohio girl (Franek) actually won 4 events. 4 X 800 on Friday and 1600-800-3200 in about 1:30 on Saturday. Her "best" times are 4:45 - 2:11 - 10:16. Her winning times on a slightly windy day were 4:56 - 2:13? - 10:46. She runs in Division 2. Ohio has 3 divisions. I know the original poster mentioned she won all 4, but much of that got lost in focusing on the individual wins. How many of the other athletes listed won the 4 distance events?
I remember Brian Pettingill of Maine (then Stanford) won the 800, mile, and 400, and ran on a winning relay as well I believe. His teammate, Colin Peddie was second in the mile and the 800 and won the 2 mile. They were running for Cheverus HS, probably 1981.

holy moly, haven't heard Peddie's name is a long time - he was at Virginia when I was at Charlottesville HS
bret turowski of oklahoma did it in 01 i think.
In Ohio, I only know of one other person who has even qualified to the state meet in the 800-1600-3200, that being Archbold's Rachel Sauder (now Kinsman) in the late 80s (if memory serves me, she did it twice). She skipped the 800 at state each time. She also had the benefit of a different schedule which gave her some 20-25 minutes rest between the 800 and 3200 at the regional meet. I think Bob Kennedy qualified to regionals in all three his senior year ('88), but I could be wrong on that one.
Franek set a PR and (D-2) state meet record in the 800, and then ten minutes later had to beat Cassandra Schenk to win the 3200. Schenk got tenth place last night in the seeded race at Nike Outdoor Nationals.
Will Hodges... NC 4A 1995 800 1600 3200 one day meet... we all know that only the 200s seaperate the 800 and 3200
-The Kaltenbach sisters accomplished successful quads (4x800 as the other event) in their CO state meet-Meg in ?2002 and Kate in 2004.
-Marie Lawrence got the quad this year in her NV state meet. I believe that she also was successful with the distance triple last year and took the 800-mile double as a frosh
