147 my A$$! What is your name and who do you run for?
Coe ran 2:06 at the age of 14 but 2:00 at the age of 15. Meanwhile Ovett ran 2:09 and as a15 year old ran 1:55.3
age 15-1:59.0
age 14 i never ran the 800.
I am pretty sure that it is driss yousfi who is running for idaho.
He was at the ncaa. He is french( like me)
2:05 as an 8th grader is great. When I was in 9th grade we had a guy who matured early (he already had a strong beard). He ran 2:05.x for a 9th grade record. He got into pot smoking and other garbage and never ran well again. One of my friends ran a 4:24 1500 in 8th grade and placed 2nd at Herhshey Nationals and probably could have run 2:08 or so in 8th grade. He went onto run a 2:10/4:44 double in his only meet of 9th grade off of no training. He had a very inconsistent 4 years, but went on to run 51.x/1:54.7/4:20 as a senior.
Another guy I know ran 1:56 as a soph, 1:55 as a junior and than 1:55 early as a senior and then got an injury by May. He never got much faster in college and just finished up at CMU.
Your 2:05 doesn't necessarily mean that much. I would say that if you stay healthy and keep the training up you should be able to do 1:55 by senior year. But it doesn't predict a 1:42 if that is what you are wondering. It doesn't mean you WON'T do a 1:42.
did u run 1:59 or did you run a slower time at altitude like your name implies? are you lying or just kind of lying?
14- 2:17 (8th grade)
15- 1:59 (High school, obviously)
16- 1:56
17- 1:56
18- 1:57 (injured most of the year)
19- 1:52
about damn time too, i almost gave up on running i don\'t know how many times.
@ 14 (8th grade track) i ran a 2:07. But I was only running something like 15 miles a week. I also ran a 4:59 1600 that year. we only had 4 meets total so I only got to run those events one time each.
Kevin Sullivan ran 1:53x when he was 13 or 14...
Nope, that is just a name. My 1:59 (Legit, accutrack) was at about 3000 ft, so not anywhere near high enough for an adjustment. (you don't get 800m adjustments anyway)
Seb Coe as 15 year old ran 2.08.4 for 800m
W Kirketer....1.49.6
Yuri Borz. ....2.10.0
Dallas Bowden New Zealand. Up and Comer.
14 1.54
15 1.53
16 who knows?

Female coach having affair with male runner. Should I report it?
Colin Sahlman runs 1:45 and Nico Young runs 1:47 in the 800m tonight at the Desert Heat Classic
If Daniel's and Pfitz are outdated..then where do I look for modern training plans?
