Running on a treadmill is miserable. The only time it's bearable is if you have a TV right in front of you and are watching a NFL game which helps the time go by. But it's still incredibly boring and tedious

Why can’t you do both.
1. dont enjoy wnba
2. enjoy treadmill
= #2
I change the speed or incline of the treadmill usually every .3miles-.5miles so its always varied (much like running outdoors). Music, podcasts, or tv can help but arent necessary.
Or neither?
I do both all the time. One reason I enjoy treadmill is that I can watch women's basketball games on the screen.
I'd watch caitlin or angel
Same pathetic poster makes same pathetic thread.
Would I rather eat a $h!+ sandwich or respond to this thread? I guess respond to this thread, but not by much
Black ice/ wind and snow. Get it young fella.
Treadmill.
Definitely WNBA game. In fact, I'm considering spending about half the cost of a treadmill to take my kids to one. Should be great.
Thunderstorm outside so did an 80 min ladder workout on the treadmill this morning. Watched the new Walmsley film on Youtube. Time flew by. It's not hard.
🤡
I like to do the treadmill thing, along with the NFL thing.
Run 90 mins but outside. No treadmill running
Some of us who can't run anymore would love to be able to run on a treadmill, or anywhere else.
A few weeks ago, my friend asked me to go to his gym with him. I can count on my fingers the times I’ve visited a gym. I did a work out with him and proceeded to run an easy 10 on the treadmill. I don’t feel dramatic in saying that it was painfully boring, even when aided by Spotify and whatever news channels Planet Fitness was playing.
Time isn’t something I’m too concerned with when I’m out for a run. I’m just perceiving my surroundings as I’m passing through them. On the treadmill, I was just face to face with the clock, watching seconds go by. It was grueling.
Neither. Both activities suck.
I am being honest here in saying that I enjoy watch NFL games at home or at a bar or whatever, but whenever I try to watch one on a treadmill or elliptical, I quickly realize how much downtime there is and it gets incredibly boring. Maybe it is just me.
The worst is when you're at a gym and you cannot turn off the closed captions for whatever reason - some just seem to be on there no matter what you do - and the captions cover up the entire screen and you can't even see the game. That is the PITS!
I've been running for 52 years and I've never done either and probably never will.
