Interesting discussion with a guy who has written about social media. Some points he makes:
* We now live in a "prestige economy" where people focus their energy on things to get Likes, which have ultimately no value-add to the real economy or society.
* Gen Z, compared to previous generations, has almost nobody of significance. It's a useless generation. Previous generations, when they were the same age, had great musicians, founders of companies, authors, etc.
