Life is a gift regardless of what religion beliefs you do or do not have. You don't have to be here, there is a very very very small chance that you ever existed. nobody is stopping you from leaving either.

The reality is that you have nothing to lose, and should aim to live how you like and do what you enjoy. It's important to remember though that a lot of things you want to do are financially constrained, so working is necessary.

For people with a different viewpoint, life is a privilege, not a chore. My mom fought and fought and fought to stay alive but didn't make it. She valued nature, interacting with people and physical activity, good food and wine and learning new things. Do any of these things bring you joy?

Make your purpose helping others. Simple as that. I don’t mean like Go Fund Me, I mean like welcoming an addict, a trafficking victim or a migrant into your home and making it beyond dispute they will become healthy and safe, until they are healthy and safe.

Find some purpose for your life.

Maybe start running?
Or woodworking?

Or a youtube channel blowing up things. Some people got really successful with that.

There are many other options out there.

Get off the phone,computer,porn and all social media. These things do nothing but eventually steal our peace and joy. Live life in reality not through a screen. Think of others before yourself always. And stay away from sites like letsrun.

There is so much good in the world. Seek it out. I feel so bad for young adults in the current age of social media, internet, etc.

You are not forced to do the rat race. Make your own path. Be well. Find God. I don't mean in a Pentecostal or radical Christian way, but go find God in your own way. God is Love. Find Love. Not even romantic Love. Just go find Love. Start with being good to those around you, and spread that Love out to others. I volunteered at a place just this week making turkey and cheese sandwiches for kids who don't have enough food. Made 500 sandwiches in 4 hours. I left there feeling much better about the world because I knew that 500 kids in the city were getting sandwiches. Not feeling good for me, but for them. Serve others. Love starts with serving others. Get that spark and keep it going.

It is a truism but your life is what you choose to make of it. You may think there is no point to life but there is - it's what you decide you want to do with it. You're also plain wrong because plenty of people find a point to life and have long done so.

Recently I crossed the path of a snail which was leaving a dotted slime path. Was in awe for the power and imagination of life. That was a Good Day. Most days are.

Last year I had a bike accident. 1 week coma. Life threatening stuff. Ten days ago I ran the Paris marathon and did a PB. What a Good Day.
