10:00 is for 3200, by the way
4:42
that slow? ive already ran faster
4:35 no one knows just try and keep running fastee. If you think you can run 4:25 then believe that and trust yourself if no one else does.
Sub 4:40 seems reasonable based of your 3200m but hard to say from the workout
You definitely have plenty 400m speed with a 56.1
Someone on my team ran 4:35 1600m with a 9:56 3200m which could also be around what you run for 1600m
I would say ~4:35
4:34
ok so you know and are just jerking us around. you should have interval splits, race splits, or PRs and know a number. if you think you can do better, beat it. if you'd like to know "now," tell coach to let you run the mile one week instead. or find a track the week after the season is over.
nah my experience this is people looking for an attaboy or unearned confidence. the best confidence is earned confidence. the soccer equivalent of the heisman played in my summer league. i'd have to guard him once a summer. and he wouldn't score on me. you do that and guarding some ordinary D3 forward doesn't seem hard anymore, even the all-conference ones. meaning here, you can be a "i ran a 4:30" guy or you can be a "well, folks on the internet have told me i could be" guy. to me you're as good as your last race, or split, or at worst some training time. why are you asking me what you can do? you tell me what you can do. then you set a goal to break that and maybe improve 5 seconds.
430
This is a very short workout that doesn't say anything, since anyone could easily over run a workout like that faster than mile pace, therefore it doesn't indicate any specific level of fitness. You'd have a lot better idea if you did something like 8-12x400 w/ 60-80s rest between.
Many 4:40 guys could do that workout. But you could be a 4:20 guy who used this as an easy workout. I say 4:37 just based on this one thing.
