I ran ~35 miles the past two weeks. I want to build to 50, however I am injury prone. Highest I have done is ~42.
It’s my outdoor season right now, and I do a threshold every week, a long run every week, mile pace on the track every other week, and 3k pace on the track every other week.
Would it be safe to build to 50, or even at all, with races and that training schedule? Or is mileage increase usually left to base building?
