Two weeks out, it's looking like low 50s° at race time with a mild headwind and plenty of cloud cover. Small chance of rain.
LRC note. Letsrun will be updating the forecast every day or two right here:

i'll take it
Looks like near perfect conditions outside of a bit of a ENE/NE wind.
It's looking more and more like a tailwind year.
You can't predict the wind direction two weeks out. And some years, you can be on the starting line and not know what the wind direction will be halfway into the race.
Caring about the weather 2 weeks before race day tells me that you didn't adequately train in all conditions (outside of the 80+ degree training that is virtually impossible in the northeast and norther states in winter).
Or maybe they are just wanting good weather? Not that deep
Best to look at the historical weather to realize two weeks out doesn't make a lick of difference. Now all we need are historical two week out forecasts to prove it
Could be good or bad but good news at least is there’s still hope for a good weather day
I’ve been running in race singlet every day since 3/15. Anything above 55 I consider a warm day. Avg temps in nyc, mornings, 40s.
I’m just thankful it’s not today. In classic fashion it’s 35 degrees and pouring rain with 40mph gusts here in Boston today
Ten days out and it's still looking like at least reasonable conditions if not pretty good conditions. Obviously things can change, but the days before and after are also forecast to be decent. Fingers crossed 🤞.
The way too early forecast looks pretty darn good.
I know it is way too early to get an accurate forecast, but from someone in south AL, this is very encouraging! This will be my first Boston, so I’m already on edge, don’t need the weather being all crazy like it normally is…
I'm definitely looking forward to this being a race now rather than a fun run. Not only is heat my arch enemy, but I've been training in ship ass weather for months.

When does the wind direction become predictable? The forecast seems to alternate every day between a headwind and a tailwind.
