I am a highschool soph who ran a 15:55 3 mile last season (at woodbridge) and 16:45 at the state meet. I have had a rocky series of training blocks between then and now, doing the same mileage but I have only managed to get a 10:02 3200 as of 2 weeks ago. I feel like I should be hitting around 950 in the next couple weeks but it feels like im getting weaker as I near the beginning of my taper. Easy runs also feel way harder than they did
Im just really confused right now and could use some advice.
