That was awfully impressive from Suge Knight. I really wish the announcer would tone down the “sub 10, sub 9” preoccupation but I guess it is what this meet became famous for.
The announcer is preoccupied with trying to sound important.
You must be new, he's as much a part of the Arcadia Invite history as the meet itself.
I looked at the incredible list of finishers in the boys' invitational 3200 to see what colleges landed the quality runners. Of course with scholarship limitations the recruiting is spread out. However, the schools that seem to have gotten multiple top runners are BYU, ND, Tenn, and if we include runners that were not here, like Clay Shively, then NAU is also in the mix. Washington got Neil, Jourdan to WF.
Rodriguez girl balled out. Only a freshman! That boys 3200m race just insane depth, no one gave an inch. Simmons is a beast. Tough as nails smart race/
Ethan Edgeworth with an Alabama record in 8:38! I think Ethan Strand was the first Alabama guy to break 9 in 2021 (I think he was top 5 in the NCAA mile this year). He set a new standard with his 8:59. 8:38 is just on a completely different level.

Run 3200 at arcadia and 1600 literally anywhere else
Also wonder what happened to Sidi Njie. Was in the lead for ~250 in the 400M and came at 200 at around 21, so he was definitely on 45 pace, then completely faded the homestretch
