Hello!
I am on week 12 of Hansons marathon method beginners plan. Last week I logged 56 miles. My long run being 17 miles (instead of the 16)
As of 8/21/2023 the longest run I ever completed was 7 miles and that was a huge milestone for me. So far I have followed the plan, besides week 6 and 7. I had a 6 pack and was doing well but had some knee pain. I strongly believe my knee pain came from lack of calories, but I was weighing in at the lowest I have weighed in 20 years. And really enjoyed the 6 pack! I was fasting intermittently and constantly maintaining a calorie deficit. I have sought out a sports nutritionist, they have me on 6 meals a day. And I have been gaining weight, but feel great on my runs.
My main goal is to complete the marathon strong!
any tips or any advice would be greatly appreciated. Maybe writing this post is making me realize I need to just keep on keeping on, but I feel as tho maybe I’m missing something.
