Work really hard on 200s I went from a 69-71 runner during 6 by 400 workouts to a 64-68 runner. During a race I could def go sub 60 now so really grind during 200s.
Work on your max speed and learn to run the 400. If you can only run a 30 in the 200, then a 60 is gonna be pretty hard, and if you can only run 15 in the 100, then a 30 is gonna be pretty hard - you get the idea. If you can get down to 13.0 and 26.5 territory you should be in good shape to run under 60.
Good luck!
