Hey, I am training for my first marathon and I definitely chose a bad plan, I am at 35km a week - 7.5 weeks out, is that super low? I'm not aiming for any sub 4 time, finishing it would be enough. My average easy pace is 5:30/km
I decided to up my mileage a little more than a safe 10% a week. So I will ideally hit 55km in my peak week with a longest run (30 or 32km)
My longest run rn is half marathon, did another 20k yesterday. I'm planning to do 25km, 27km and 32km before taper 2 weeks before.
Is it stupid to have that peak week of 55km the week before taper, aka finish the longest 30/32km run and go into taper. ?
Or if anyone can give me like a rough realistic plan to follow for the next 7.5 weeks.
I'm kinda lost and any advice would be much appreciated, thank you so much!
