And we wonder why NCAA athletes are racing so fast lately.

I mean, its possible. But you know if testing didnt exist some people would still refrain from cheating? Its an easy way to die young(lol) using peds

Ncaa does their own tests. I do not believe it would show up on USADA, but they have been tested definitely not a ton though.
I honestly honestly think Nico Young is clean, he was amazing all through highschool, and Mike Smith is a genius of a coach who ironed down his not so great mechanics and added some speedy wheels to the obviously huge engine he has. Moving from Cali to high alt Arizona was probably a huge training by stimulus in its own too.
Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was doping, I don’t think you should ever be surprised by anyone who breaks 14:00, 3:42, 4:00, or 1:50 or there about testing positive, but he will be in the pro testing pool soon enough and I doubt he’s gonna have a problem.
I think they’re clean but yeah they should be tested more.
Lance Armstrong had what, 1000+ clean drug tests? Sorry, not going to take the number of drug tests as a sign of anything.
This is the worst thread of the day. Just absolutely stupid.
Do you not think there'd be one doctor in the Boston metropolitan area (4.9 million people) who'd be willing to prescribe 'recovery' supplements? Running 100 mpw in 6 days at 6:00 pace on concrete takes a massive toll on your body. I lean towards clean since there isn't a huge culture of doping and he had multiple injuries before, but you never know.
Or do you not think that pros in Flagstaff know where to get drugs?
If the NCAA distance runners were really doping regularly because they weren't tested for performance enhancing drugs, then we'd see that reflected on the pro level, but I can think of only one major high level American-born distance runner caught doping in decades, Shelby Houlihan.
I think you could also look at big performance drop-offs from college (no testing) to pro (some testing) as a red flag, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.
Also look up Tuohy and Valby.
Nice of you to announce that you have no idea who ends up in the testing pool and when
So do you think he cold-called all of the thousands of doctors in Boston until he found the one who answered, “Yes, I can get you illegal PEDs, anonymous stranger who I hope isn’t DEA”? How exactly would that work?
Interesting though that Emilio Young has been tested.
Also, this database is only usada. Although Nico and Graham haven't competed on the global scale, it's not our of the question that they could be tested by another agency. There almost certainly will be testing at The Ten.
Nobody every thought to use drugs before 2021. You're so smart.
Do you think it's hard to get prescription drugs illegally? Have you been to a gym before? Have you used Google?
There have been other champions banned. Not sure why being American matters? Michael Saruni just got banned, he was the 800m NCAA record holder. Divine Oduduru, 6x NCAA champion sprinter banned... there have been others as well.
I think Nico is likely clean, but NCAA probably has its own doping issues. Just not as bad as the pro level I am guessing.
Hocker has improved his 1500 time by half a second in 3 years since he left college when he should be improving more after 10 seconds in 1 year in 2021.
And you know they haven't been tested how?
