Ben seems to be leaning Robinson over Young in the 5k. I don't see it this season.
Plus, Robinson will be competing in the Australian track and field championships in April to qualify for the Olympics. Will he even taper much for NCAAs? Olympics are the goal.
Start lists are up - as someone posted no Bunnage in 5000 - the DMR teams are the teams who ran the qualifying time, not necessarily who will run on Friday.
Appears Stanford will be replacing Lucy Jenks on the opening leg of the DMR with either Zofia Dudek or Sophia Kennedy, neither of whom are 800/milers.
This will put Stanford in a significant deficit, probably 5-6 seconds behind the leaders at the 400 leg handoff. Stanford has a pretty good 400 runner in Cydney Wright who should move up a few places before handing off to Roisin Willis/800. Roisin will kill this leg: would not be surprised at all to see her move up to 1st or 2nd with a 2-flat leg before handing off to Juliette Whittaker.
However, only way Stanford defends its title is for Juliette to have a 6-7 second lead on Notre Dame, Oregon and Washington . . . which won't be the case. Whittaker may very well run a 4:30-flat pr which will not be enough to hold off Markevich/ND and the other sub-4:30 anchors. Stanford could well get down to a new SR of 10:45 or so and still finish 4th or 5th.
The TRACK at New Balance is extremely fast -- be it the wooden subsurface, banked turns, track surface, or the wonderful facility itself with up to 5,000 fans screaming at you from a few feet away --so look for a new CR, possibly 10:40.
And, that will be the cherry on the cake for Friday evening, following the men's 5k and DMR earlier in the afternoon, then roughly a half-hour after whatever Parker Valby runs in the women's 5k to blow the roof off the place.

Could stanford make another change? OK state has Roe listed on anchor, but how is she going to do that right after the 5k?
The osu team composition shown (but not on flas results) is the team that qualified but not necessarily who will run. Like "Fan Out West" did you need to see which other athletes. Are shown as entered into the meet to infer who might sub in.

Your English is a bit off here. I’m looking at the Flash results but don’t see the athletes listed under the DMR start list. Unless you mean the TFRRS link that pops up when you click on a team?

Sorry, now I see it in the typed-out page under the Start List link.
As i said the dmr team members are not listed on flash results. But they are listed on the link I provided above as who was accepted into the meet. Flash results lists athlete by athlete who is entered and that is where you can see entires who did not qualify as discussed earlier in this thread. My cell phone seems to think it should correct my typing to poor English so excuse me.

Agree Barnett on opening leadoff could be fast considering her 800 time on this track was a major PR this year. She was a couple second off qualifying so the 1200 might be a good distance. Never count our Olivia and her ability to do the imposible.
Note that Dudek, Kennedy and Wright are listed for Stanford but have not qualified individually. Simple deductive reasoning concludes that Wright is running the DMR 400 leg while either Dudek or Kennedy are replacing Jenks on the 1200 opener.
Doesn't the 1200 almost always go out very tactical though?
Yes but often they are subs. OR may lead off with Barnett who is not afraid to front run and can probably go quite fast.
Up until a couple or so years ago, a 3:20 lead off leg was great while anything faster was an all-time best. (Rachel Schneider (Smith), then of Georgetown, once held the fastest time record of 3:19.+.)
But this season, with opening splits down to 3:15 along with multiple sub-3:20s, college women & coaches have finally figured out how to race a 1200.
So, tactical? Yes. If you consider running all-out from the gun tactical.

Main concern for Stanford is that the team will be so far behind (like maybe up to 10 secs) at the 400 exchange that the remaining three legs will throw in the towel and simply compete for not coming in last.
Which would make sense for W&W who, presumably, will be racing the 800 final the next day.

Looking at FL it seems no athlete is entered who could run the 800 leg - but upon checking their 800 leg runner was not declared for an individual event, and perhaps thus at this time does not show on the list of entered athletes? So there may be other potential relay runners for team - who did not declare for an individual event.
