I recently bought Saucony Sinister and I noticed how quickly I can change paces and also make sharp turns without losing much speed, compared to a modern plated supershoe. It came to me that this type of shoe could be really helpful in a crowded race where you (happened to) start at the back (or a lot of slower runners just started at the front!) and have to go around a lot of people and change your speed a lot. Sinister is really light and nimble, but it's not as economical as a supershoe. I think for up to a half and if you're in a big race with a lot of participants and you can't really take advantage of the cruising speed of a supershoe that is an option. What do you think?
