I don’t know what your best option is, but I’ll say that I like tempo next % much better for dirt and crushed limestone trails than for asphalt and concrete. I wear them for any long runs with quality miles and for workouts (pace range has been 6:00-7:15) on those surfaces, and I like them (not outstanding life in them, by my experience with three pairs has been better than for some reviewers). On harder surfaces and tracks, I’ve used Saucony Endorphin Speed and Pro for threshold and tempo work (just fwiw, even though you’re not considering those).
