The same people who have dogged Hunter for years, will make up excuses for poor little Tuohy. He has had a nce career for Adidas. She will limp along now that she is in the testing pool.

Tuohy is very update
Personally i dont think its a big deal when a college aged runner goes pro and doesnt race for 4 months while dealing with an injury.
There are americans that ran 3:33 or something 2 years ago(davis) and havent ran since that absolutely no one asks about lol.
How can it be good for a 3:33 guy not to race for 2 years? Using that as your example makes everyone feel very good about her future.
I think the point was don’t freak out about 4 months. If we get into a month out from the Trials and she hasn’t raced then yeah maybe she’s cooked this year. Elise cranny’s last race was a DNF last September. I’d bet she opens at the Sound Running Track Fest in LA at the latest if not an 1500 at Penn Relays.
Cranny's done.
"world class" is a bit of a stretch....at least at this time
UPDATE: Katelyn Tuohy is going the way of Colleen Quigley and transitioning to cycling. Looking forward to see what she can accomplish in this exciting new sport!
That is such an…. (Ugh, I’ve always learned, if you don’t have anything “good” to say, don’t say anything at all).
We did just hear from Tuffy that she will NOT be competing in the Raleigh Relays. Who knows when her first race will be.
She's currently in Boston which makes sense as it's sponsored by Adidas. I saw a strava post that said she did a shakeout run w/ heartbreak. But still no race updates...
May as well just use that same message for the next 12 months.
Thinking that she may be done. Trials are right around the corner and she is in hiding. Very odd. Sponsor can't be happy.
Just this weekend she was the Guest for a “Run with Katelyn” 3 to 4 mile jog and Q&A with the public at the Heartbreak activities for the Boston Marathon weekend.
Tuohy marathoner? I am sure Fiona Okeeffe has inspired a few runners to move in that direction at a younger age. I hope she gets healthy and sticks to the track for now though, lots of potential there.
I wonder when she is going to open up her season. It has to be frustrating to be out for this long but the hanstring can be stubborn.
I have a feeling she’ll be making an appearance at the Adizero Road to Records event coming up on April 27th. Nothing concrete yet, just a feeling.
I recall Henes said something about both her and Chmiel wanting to run NYC Marathon some day.
Are you showing us that she is following the same path that Mary Cain did after she was washed up? Thank you for that information.
