Top 3 (Meshesha, Haylom and Welteji) all enter the top-20 all time and are #6, #8 and #9 this century. Courtney-Bryant and Reekie are now #3 and #4 U.K. behind Laura Muir and Kelly Holmes.
Must be a good day to run a fast 1500.
Meet is 10-12 on CNBC and Peacock on US with live recap show on LetsRun at 12:05 eastern.
Would've been nice if that 1500 was broadcast.

1500 was live on my TV, must be your provider.
Best 1500 of the year besides Faiths record race, really wish it was on the broadcast. Ethiopia continues to show their depth with 4 at 3:57 or better, Hall snatches the AR back from Jess Hull, and Courtney Bryant and Reekie run 3:58s, both breaking 4 for the first time
Looks very warm with good chance of rain.
Fantastic women’s 1500. PBs for nearly every runner.
YouTube stream starts in 1 minute.
I thought i saw it was 89 degrees there. Can't be that hot with those times, v little shade on the track.
way too warm and humid for jakob to run 3:27... 32c and what 70% humidity?
edit: didn't know about ethiopia 1500m. am wrong
I know it’s absurd, but an Ethiopia vs. The World women’s 1500 scored like a cross country race would be a good battle. If Hassan hadn’t moved to the Netherlands it’s probably not even a contest.
1500 might be just short enough that it doesn’t really matter?
No, CNBC just posted 42% humidity and 30c.
Home girl takes W 400 with a 49.48!
Heat is good for a 1,500
Any links? Much thanks.
Great attendance!
