I predict Senior, Johnston, Hempstead.
I predict Senior, Johnston, Hempstead.
Johnston girls team graduated nobody and they are bringing in a freshman who ran the 5th fastest time on the team at NXR last year.
Johnston will also have a chance to go to NXN.
Yes I know but that doesn't make them a heavy favorite over senior.
Could possibly be top 2
Big news, Ives is coaching boys and girls at Dowling.
More likely that Merrick is transferring than a 15.xx guy is transferring in.
Dowling boys will score about 40 points.

where would merrick transfer to? Pretty sure he's fine at cf
He isn't. The point is that it is more likely that he transfers to Dowling than it is that a 15:30 instate kid is transferring to Cedar Falls. The first has a 2% chance and the 2nd has a 1% chance..

Not all transfers happen because of the actual running, there are other life reasons. I heard again this weekend someone is transfering. Seems name is a secret, not really sure why. I say its a 50% chance. and I heard more like 15:50 runner which is still huge for cf if it happens
There are 8 returners in the state within 5 seconds of 15:50. I will contact them today to find out.
If Zuber or Tyynismaa, that would be huge..

That is true. Dowling Catholic’s Gabe Shaw (who recent graduated) transferred to a different school for his senior year and he was ineligible to race varsity. Could be due to non-running reasons

Contact the 16:00 to 16:10 guys to, They should pick up enough to be 15:50 this fall.
There are no kids transferring across the state to run cross country at Dowling, haha.

That was never in question
First you say a 15 minute guy is transferring. Then you back off to 16. Then it is 15:50. Now it is 16:10. Soon it will be 17 minutes. Nobody is transferring and Cedar Falls will finish 5th.

First 15 minute guy is anywhere fro 15:00 to 15:59 correct? Second you seem to act like you know everything about cross country running in the state, I find that probably wrong as well. And just saying someone that went 16:10 should be shooting for a 15 with proper training. So lot of possible low 16 minute guys going 15's this fall. I'M just going to say your correct and theres no transfer so you can sleep well at night seeing how it is overly is concerning to you. But with that being said no team has 5 good runners as far as im concerned so cf picking up even a 16:20 runner could be huge in the outcome.
So new topic to get people going, How many sub 15 times will we see this season?
