It seems Conner foresaw his record going down. He's really leaning into the villain persona with Simeon against the twins. Does this mean we can expect another 5k attempt from Burns?
in the podcast connor said he wanted to give the 5k one more shot and try to go under 13:30. he didn't think the record would last long but if he went under 13:30 it would last a very long time

he agrees with this. Simeon has already broken 4. Plus, he has an amazing kick. I think Simeon has more raw talent. Not that Lex and Leo are not talented!! Of course. But L & L had great coaching. Plus, that beautiful California weather to train year 'round in!

Well they all are chasing 16 year old Australian Cam Myers who turns 17 in June. 3:38 and 7:52 for1500/3. Will run road milenext weekend before off to Europe. Word is he is in 3:35 shape.

Exactly. This is why sub-4 importance just needs to die. Track and Field News was right. We hold sub-4 up so high that people don't even realize 3:39 is just another level.
