I hate to drag this out again, but the NCAA threatened to disqualify Turner Washington after he rips off his top upon winning the Discus. They don't, but he has to put his shirt back on. Then the NCAA Track social media accounts CELEBRATE him and show him ripping off his shirt...

just pointing out the rule is dumb and enforcement is worse. I was in Austin last night and saw what happened and thought of this
Why doesn't the rule just add clarification:
"Any celebration before the finish line is grounds for DQ." Wouldn't that solve it.
I think officials like the lack of clarity. It gives them discretion to DQ who they want to DQ.
