Nope. Doping is doping. You can't only dislike dopers when they run your specific event and not care when your teammates and friends are affected by dopers in their events.
Miss Emma Coburn throwing up some sassy Instagram story posts about jeruto too, while still continuing to show support for Shelby. So easy for Emma and gault to call dopers dopers when they are African, but it’s still a tragedy to you when it happens to a white American. Here’s a suggestion, don’t run 14:23 on an empty track if you don’t want to invite scrutiny either

Well there’s about a drug bust basically everyday. A world champion, in a race she was competing in, might get a little more of a public response. She signed the petition to not let Shelby run. She’s went to DC numerous time to push for the Rodchenkov act. But sure…Shelby

She posted a picture of Jeruto winning worlds with the caption: "Friendly reminder: if a performance (or a year of performances) look too good to be true ... it is. Remember when she ran 9:01 in the PRELIM? Lol"

Shelby's bust exposed media bias because it was referred to as a tragedy and she was given a ton of empathy other dopers don't get. Emma may not comment on other dopers but she's gone out of her way to like posts where Shelby whines about the unjust system. It's weird when the system is just when Jeruto and Jebet are caught but it's unjust with Shelby. Enough.
All I’m saying is Emma has probably had at least a friendly personal relationship with Houlihan on team USA prior to the ban.
Emma is now everyday teammates with Kate grace and Emily Infeld who have both come out to say they don’t think Houlihan is guilty.
I do think Americans who are currently competing have been scared into not speaking up about a tainted meat/supplement excuses. God forbid it Emma accidentally tests positive for unknowingly ingesting something, like Brenda and Ajee, and she is asking for forgiveness after bashing Houlihan for making up her burrito story.
But I agree, it is definitely a choice to speak out against dopers from another country and not your own. and doesn’t look great.
Yet another East African representing another country busted, and yet the scientific racists here will never stop seeing such individuals as 'proof' that East Africans are genetic offshoots.
it depends when the positive test was. If it was from this year she won't lose her medal, if it was from around worlds time she will.
Ok. So what is the policy on re-testing samples and do they take samples from everyone? I imagine this is part of why Coburn is feeling very salty, she would have gotten Bronze at Worlds.
At the time of the 8:44 Chepkoech had never run close to world elite in the 3k, though she has done so more recently.
Running 4:03 at altitude and 8:28 in Monaco pre super-spikes (in a race set up for Obiri) gave her a pretty big advantage at the time. It’s still an outlier time for her for sure.
