WOW. Never liked him. He should spill on doping in Kenya. Is his brother the one who moved on to Ethiopia?

I have zero idea who this guy is. He could be the leader of a country, an athlete, and actor, a construction worker, anything.

There's a reason that he lasted about three weeks and seven hard training sessions at his Japanese corporate team. Couldn't handle the training without extra help.

I genuinely hope he lands on his feet back in New Zealand (or wherever he settles down following this), but I feel for the athletes he's stolen money from over the years.

He (Zane) is the one that retired.

Mr Robertson

claimed that he had attended a Kenyan medical facility seeking a Covid 19 vaccination

but was instead treated for Covid 19, which included the administration of EPO.

Ouch.

But when anti doping checked with the facility they had no record he visited on the date he claimed, the doctors he claimed treated him either didn't exist or weren't actually doctors, the medical report he submitted wasn't generated by their facility, and the patient number he supplied wasn't even Robertson's patient number.

After that evidence was submitted Robertson stopped contesting the charge RE EPO and did not contest the tampering charge.

Yikes.

Down the drain goes that career.

Maybe this is why he retired

Update: he protested and his B sample was also positive so he accepted the ban, rough.

Multiple national record-holder Zane Robertson tampered with evidence, claimed he had been given a banned substance as part of a Covid treatment in Kenya.

This is very sad because he did not need to do this at the end of his career and one should assume that he was clean for most of his career as he had been tested multiple times presumably throughout his career when running internationally. It is also sad because it might tarnish to some degree his brother and twin Jake Robertson. Very sad times and I really feel devastated for him. The 8 year ban also includes a ban for coaching.

Huge bummer to see this. Always admired the Robertson twins when I was in high school and college.

Alright I lose even more respect for that half-@ssed attempt at a coverup.
