She seemed very disappointed judging by her reaction. In any case she seems to be in supreme shape and I would like her chances if there was someone else making it competitive.
I just don’t get the coaching instruction for Keely in that one. She is in 1:56 shape, but why is she attacking each race like 26hi/56hi is good for her? I get she might need to be OK with these splits at Worlds if Mu/Moraa push, but she also should be comfortable going through the field and running her own best race.
She wasn't concerned about winning the race. She wanted to set a new British record.
For some reason..women cannot close faster paces within 4 second positive splits? This one was about 5.2 positive?
At Pre 2021 didn’t Mu go 55.9/59.1? Keely has decent speed but there’s no way 26hi for the first 200 is the best for her. It can be OK for Mu/Moraa who can run 23 in the open if not 22.
I really don’t get why it’s so complicated to watch these meets. I’m in Switzerland and the WA YouTube channel is blocked. What sense does that make? Who the heck is that channel for?

I think only 31 for last lap - anyone confirm that?
1:26.80 at 600 so 30.91. I say credit to her for going for something special, particularly since she must’ve known she could win after seeing Moraa’s form last week.
Ferdinand Omanyala beats Jacobs…who says Kenyans don’t show up for indoors?
