Oh its bad. Esp if you are habitual trash talker. I hear what you are saying, but CC has been a little uneven in his "comeback" and Lyles brushed off Bromell in the 60 a week earlier with a great time. NL beating CC at this juncture would not have been a surprise.

That rule simply has to go. It's probably the most ludicrous rule in sports.
Give one and charge it to the field, then DQ.
It's different in high school where it's an official's eye that catches it. But here, your foot barely moves or your hips barely flinch and the blocks pick it up.

Agreed, in what other sport are you not even allowed to compete for something like that? Spectators pay money to see people like Lyles run. Luckily in this instance they let him run under protest.
