Muir and Nuguse win THRILLING Wanamaker miles.
Laura Muir had the lead, gave it up to Josette Andrews (Norris) and then dug deep and came back to grab her first Wanamaker win in 4:20.15 to Andrews' 4:20.88 (it was fast early - 63.61 and 2:08.89 for 440 and 880). In the men's mile, Yared Nuguse was SENSATIONAL over the final 440 which he covered in 54.09 (last 200 in 25.94) as he won in a American record of 3:47.38. Brit Neil Gourley was second in 3:49.46 as Olli Hoare settled for an Aussie national record in 3rd (3:50.83).

Kerr SHOCKS in 3k
Olympic 1500 bronze medallist, who had never brokne 8:00 in his life for 3000, got a big upset win. And he didn't wait. He took the lead prior to bell after a 27.87 split and never looked back as still had a 26.98 in the tank to win in a new meet record time of 7:33.47. Nico Young - the collegiate star - didn't run well and still needs an NCAA qualifier.

The men's 60 featured a false-start by Noah Lyles but race officials let him run anyway. Noah Lyles knew he needed to be perfect to beat Coleman but in the end Coleman got the win in a world leading 6.47 as Noah ran 6.53 (but was eventually DQd).
