You asked her if she was injured back in September. She wasn’t .
She got injured in the middle of October.
Ask again.

Ha Ha Ha. None of my track fans have even heard about it. You guys live in a Letsrun bubble. Wiley is the next great American miler. I expect that she will run 4:00 in the 1500 this year.
Oh, so that makes it Ok? LOL. Maybe the story needs to be more publicized, maybe not. But it is a bona fide scandal nonetheless.
No hope for the sport if you can't even discuss the mess at Huntington. Why care about doping at all
Anyone who has read the police report knows Wiley is a victim. Her defending her abuser (standard behavior for someone in her position) or possibly/probably taking PEDs doesn’t change that. She has never played the victim and in fact doesn’t even see herself as one due to Nick’s manipulation and brainwashing.
Someone who spends their time sh*tting on young college girls he thinks are doping is the last person who should be talking about legitimacy or character.
She had a chance to get out and go to one of the top distance running programs in the country. She committed to go there and then backed out to go to Huntington. Choices have consequences.
What are the consequences? She ran great yesterday. I guess success is the consequence of her choice.
I was responding directly to the post that implied she was some helpless victim and needed to get out of there. Here’s the deal - she chose to go (in her own words) to the only coaching arrangement that could help her achieve her goals. So be it. But not helpless and not a victim then - can’t play it both ways.
She isn't playing anything either way. She is happy and she is running well.
In this case I don't have to think anything. The facts speak for themselves. Deal with it. They can remove all the posts they want and a handful of apologists can downvote the truth. It is the truth nonetheless. And everyone knows it.
Amazing. Seven pages in 24 hours and not one person can refute any FACT I presented. However, I am not too big to admit when I make a mistake. The original list I posted in the first post was WRONG. I completely forgot a race, so I added it below. This is the accurate list.
4:24.26 Tuohy - Junior - indoor
4:26.59 Tuohy - Sophomore - outdoor
4:27.70 Wiley - HIGH SCHOOL Senior - outdoor
4:31.33 Wiley - HIGH SCHOOL Senior - outdoor
4:32.15 Wiley - Freshman - indoor (converts to 4:29.48)
4:32.73 Tuohy - Freshman - outdoor
4:32.79 Tuohy - Sophomore - outdoor
4:33.73 Tuohy - Freshman - outdoor
4:34.92 Tuohy - Freshman - outdoor
4:37.30 Tuohy - Freshman - outdoor
4:41.39 Tuohy - Freshman - outdoor
4:41.50 Tuohy - Sophomore - outdoor
4:44.55 Tuohy - Freshman - outdoor
How I forgot about Wiley's 5th place in the U20 Worlds last August I don't know but I did. I sincerely apologize for my incorrect list, but it is now accurate.
Someone asked why I have so many Tuohy times; it's simple, these are all 10 of the 1500/miles that she has run in college. Nearly every one of them was an outdoor 1500 converted to mile.
This is a thread about Wiley's dominating national #2 performance and consequently all talk and lies about drugs should be deleted by the mods. Go post those lies/rumors/conspiracies on the thread dedicated to the Johnson scandal. There is no Wiley scandal. If you can't find it, the link is below. I'm so helpful!
Nice work. I agree.
So if you run well, that overcomes being involved in a doping scandal, defending a sexual abuser, ruining your reputation in the sport and being treated like a pariah? Thanks for the keen insight.
Hi Wiley's coach!
The only people playing victim are the clowns like you and astro who are attacking a college freshman and whining about censorship as if there isn’t a 40 page thread on this scandal. No doubt Wiley has made mistakes and possibly cheated (knowingly or not), but she’s also been through quite the ordeal and clearly needs help. Anyone dogpiling her in this thread is a scumbag.
If someone is going to make a thread loudly celebrating the performance of a college athlete directly involved in a doping etc scandal, people are going to respond. Sorry.
As to the facts you presented, scandals aside, in that 1600m race Wiley's coach Lauren Johnson was pacing her around the track. More of a draft assisted time trial than a race time, but whatever.
