It sure sounds like it. I wonder if he gets a ring in 10 days and then wins in Paris would he be one of the few with a SB ring and an Olympic gold medal.

So, no Budapest for him?
Do practice squad player get SB rings?
Yes he'll get a ring if Philly wins.
The irony is that there's 30 other teams where he would have been on the real roster not the practice squad. Unlucky that he's not playing but lucky because he gets a ring if they win.
The Eagles should put him on the roster for the super bowl for some trick plays. It could catch KC off guard and they can get an easy touchdown.
The best thing that happened to him is that he DIDN'T make the real roster.
He's less likely to get CTE and destroy his body on the practice squad.
I don't het the obsession with playing a sport that's going to leave you brain damaged and crippled.
He should come back to track full time.
I still think the Eagles should have played Allen over Britain Covey.
Covey played zero offensive plays this season.
His longest kick return on the season was 26 yards (you get 25 yards for a touchback).
His longest punt return was 27 yards (no big returns).
He averaged 10 yards/return.
Allen would have broken at least one big return and they could have sent him long in the slot.
Seeing this thread just reminded how badly he got shafted at the WC.
If only we had you in charge of player personnel we might have made the Super Bowl!
Ok but why is your title SCRAIMING?
Hey, this is to the interest of the running community.
31 teams could have signed him from the Eagles practice squad at any point in the season. No one did. He's not an NFL caliber receiver right now, maybe with a year of football under his belt he will be.
Millions of dollars, fame outside of the "knowledgeable fans" of Eugene Oregon, and you don't get DQed from the biggest event due to a timing system malfunction
Why not? Dude played football at Oregon in the fall/winter then would go on and WIN NCAAs and USAs in the Summer. Football is keeping him in shape, and he's talked before about the transitions he makes physically from football to track season, so he's really experienced in that regard. His biggest obstacle is just the depth of US hurdling, but the football to track adjustment is something he's done several times before.
True enough, but still not worth it in the long run to have your brains scrambled by the time you're middle-aged. I still hope he comes back to T&F.
