Yeah, the pre-workout drink excuse is beyond weak. That's very unfortunate because it massively raises suspicions about everything. If he would have said, "Yeah, I retired. I wanted to gain about 20lbs of muscle at the gym to get GAINZZZ (but not Ryan Hall gainzzz), so in an impulsive moment that I regret, I bought some SARMs to help with that. I wish I didn't. That was a boneheaded move on my part before getting all the retirement stuff squared away. But, I also didn't think anything would come of it. Man, was I wrong. I was not intending to cheat or harm anyone..." Then, he would have gotten some rightfully earned criticism, has ban, and then it would pretty much just drift away over time. As it is, though, just because of this weak implausible excuse, he's going to get lumped in with all the other dopers.
