I'm in high school, and I race the 800, 1600, and 3200, and I'm trying to run the best times possible for next season. My goal times are 2:15 for the 800, sub 4:45 for the mile, and sub 9:54 for the two mile. My previous spikes were Nike Zoom Rival D10's. Events in order of importance to me is the two mile, then the one mile, and finally the 800.
I have a really aggressive running style, and my foot is 10.25 inches (26 centimeters, US 8.5 I think) if that helps in any way. Normally, I run in size US 9 shoes, but I might do US 8.5 for the spikes. If you guys help me with sizing too, that would be great.
I was considering the following spikes:
Nike Air Zoom Victory
Nike Zoomx Dragonfly
New Balance Fuelcell MD-X
Hoka Cielo X MD
Saucony Endorphin MD4
Nike Zoom Victory 3
If any of you have your own suggestions, go ahead and say them. It doesn't have to be on this list.
I want a really light, but aggressive spike for the two mile and under, preferably with a carbon fiber/full length/three quarter length spike plate, nut as long as it is aggressive, it should work. Do you guys have any suggestions for a perfect, elite level track spike for me?
