We have same problem in our state with milesplit... the editor has personal biases and uses articles to subtlety belittle athletes and teams that editor does not like or wants to mentally knock down. Particularly top athletes. On the flip side, editor grossly uses position to build up athletes editor wants to . It is really bad. All athletes should stay away from it. Becoming like MSM.
If one freshman runner (rauber) writing something online has you this upset, I question if you were ever a fan of women's sports to begin with. Seems like just an easy excuse to hate on top female athletes.
CORRECT! The epitome of ugliness from the inside out.

Sure - you could question if we were ever supportive of women to begin with. Or, maybe it's because I think Rauber crossed a very serious line in making an accusation that should NEVER be made unless it is actual truth. We are supposed to believe women when they say they are harmed, but then we get sh*t like this. F^ck that. Seriously. It paves the way for future doubt (when there might really be an issue), and, for a guy that is accused like this, that kind of reputational damage might not ever be repaired. So, yeah, I don't even know Gordon, and he very well could be a grade-A as*hole for all I know, but Rauber (and others like her) need to understand that this type of accusation should never be made flippantly.
It's too bad, too, because I just saw the ACC meet and you could see that Rauber was emotional and proud in the post-race interview of having a good race and receiving kind words from Henes about how other girls step up when some have an off day. For a moment, she appeared to be a good runner and person, and I was happy for her. I've liked the team this season. Just goes to show that "fandom" outside of people one actually knows is dumb because you don't know these people AT ALL. Turns out they're utterly dumb b*tches.
