He posted a video talking about Sydney Seymour, and how the whole team title would be decided by how well she alone runs. He said she is showing signs of fading and running worse through the season. It's on YouTube also.
"NC State basically is going to win or lose the team title because of one runner, one runner only. It's not Chmiel, it's not Tuohy, it's not Bush, it's not whether or not Starliper shows up. It's one runner only. There are 255 runners in a cross country race but only one of them will decide the team title and that is who I currently have ranked 25th and that is Sydney Seymour, the senior from NC State."

Team title is very tricky as it is not decided by one runner, its is decided by at least 3-4 teams fighting for the title with 20-30 runners greatly affecting the scoring. Gordon Mack should know that.
Literally no one cares about XC team title except former college XC runners. So he's right in that it will be determined by one runner...who crosses the line first?
Targeting one person on a team...since when is that a bad thing? Is it because she is not considered a professional? I could buy that except that you're competing in a sport, and with competing might come some "hot takes" that you don't like.
It seems like a valid take, it's not like he said something so outlandish...just pointed out that quality of running has been fading.

No one cares? The ACC race got more than 200k views in 3 days. Can you tell me that no one cares again?
