What time is the podcast? I want to catch it live so that I can comment. NC State revived Flotrack's viability. Gordon got a bonus.

Anyone know what time it is live? Is it 11Central Time? I am even more confused due to the time change. This podcast is going to be epic.

I hope Gordon Mack gets angry so that Flotrack will never get any interviews from NC State and Katelyn Tuohy for the next 3 years. They would love that!

I will disagree here....Semi has made her allegence very well known. While she does get a little defensive at times, she also brings a lot to these threads: posting videos, providing supporting information, etc etc. Semihaze is good for these threads, and a female as well...so not sure how you want to address the creepiness part now.
What is creepy though, are you lovely 'anonymous posters' who prefer to be whine, snivel, and complain about other Posters being creepy...yet are reading and posting on the same threads.
Semihaze is likely a 50 year old man. And it is unlikely that jedsdead is your real name. You are anonymous.
NC State just annoying now. So unlikable.
I am going to the meet to cheer for OK State and Valby. Always makes sporting events more fun when there is a good guy and a villain.

Dang, thanks Gordy....I'll have to change that on my Drivers License, I didn't realize that.
Anyway, glad to hear you are going to cheer on Valby and OK State, hopefully we will see you wearing your fanboy t-shirt:

I’m not diving too deep into this but I don’t see what he did wrong. Sportswriters should be able to make specific predictions and objective assessments about athletes. It’s within the athletes rights I suppose to @ flotrack, but it appears that they don’t want to take criticism to any degree. This is like when Erin Finn called out flotrack for saying she was underperforming. Problem is flotrack tries to be all buddy buddy with runners at every level and talk about them too and it gets them into trouble
That being said, generally, the ‘the race will come down to the 5th runner’ take has always been kind of lazy to me. It’s like saying a football game is going to come down to a field goal. It does imply that the last line of defense (the fifth runner) is the most important and that 1-4 do not have as great a responsibility
Completely agree...I don't have a problem with what he said, but how he said it wasnt great. I also have no problem with the team jumping in to deflect some of the comment away from Syd....just like the football team would say that it wasn't the field goal miss that lost them the game, it was the team.
But BRaubers comment was not called for. That kind of comment is crossing a line.

Just as well. The Wolfpack can limit their interviews to Citius Mag, ESPN, Dyestat, Ali On the Run and NPR. Flotrack and LR will keep rolling without them.

there is way more variability with the results, the further you go down. If you look at the results of the girls acc championshp, The time spread from 1 to 10 is 50 seconds. The time spread from 10th to 47th place is also around 50 seconds. the further down the list you are, the more precious every second becomes.
I wouldn't say it comes down to just the 5th runner. The 4th runner is going to typically be in that category as well.
the runners at the top are going to have slip to a much greater degree to lose several points from their expected finish.
