The problem is that we know for a fact Lauren is still involved with the team, so by extension Nick is still involved. She ran a turkey trot with Addy, and was literally at the tech meet last weekend. I understand that “legally” speaking Nick may be following all the court orders, but it becomes a problem when the wife is still communicating with the team.
I completely understand what you’re saying and I’m not claiming any type of conspiracy, I’m just saying the system is kinda flawed when dealing with situations like this.
Also, Haile tested positive for a PED. It was not a recreational substance. Feel free to believe me or not, but my reputation in this thread should be enough to prove some validity.
Who does Hailey run for?
Is this a serious question? Haile. Haile runs for Huntington
Just for perspective, here's LydiaRun's first post on Letsrun. This is from the old, now locked Huntington Uni thread:
All of these post are focused on attacking the wife of a predator. There is NO evidence that she enabled him. This is not right and people should be ashamed. I cant help but feel a lot of hate and disregard for the actual victims in this situation. Not sure why so many people are upset that a high school runner decided to stay home and with her coach. These same people are using a horrible situation as justification for their own issues and hate toward a great runner's PERSONAL decision. Get over it and get off your feelings.i
Not totally informed on the ins and outs of the situation, but this post is interesting. I’m really confused. I thought a guy tested positive? Now I’m reading Hailie did. Did I miss that? Very possible. My main thought is why are people so quick to victim shame and then pass blame on the new staff. At the end of the day it appears from the outside in that everyone wanted the Johnsons removed, then when they are removed are upset that the university can’t police personal relationships of a teenage girl. How about we all state what we want. Instead of passing blame and casting aspersions let’s be very clear about what would make us happy. Honestly, what is the end result people want?

I want the school held accountable for allowing this nonsense to happen. This is an institutional problem. Anyone who knew what was going on and allow Nick Johnson and his wife to remain around these athletes should be held accountable.

clearly A male misogynist. You hate women and I’m sure you love attempting to make women feel inferior. What is wrong with my post? You disagree with it. Sorry my thought didn’t align with yours, I’m just a pathetic women who has no idea about how the world works. If at the time I read this post and felt like a victim was being attacked how is that somehow wrong? Perspective? How about you get off your high horse and actually realize that women are and continue to be marginalized by men like you! My opinion is ridiculous simply because your masculine opinion is superior. Thanks for the perspective buddy. You are clearly smarter than I could ever imagine to be.

You’re ridiculous. You really think there is a government conspiracy theory. Nick Johnson, with multiple no contact orders, trumps state law and now contact orders and is allowed to remain around these athletes. You are a modern day Sherlock Holmes.
And? No contact orders don't mean anything if the person is still in contact with the program through an intermediary, specifically his wife, or otherwise. Let's recall what when Nick Johnson was removed he was replaced by...his wife. Do you think that disassociated him from the program? That was a farce. Here Lauren is still publicly in contact with the program's athletes, and presumably Nick as well. It is not rocket science. Nor is a no contact order some sacred writ that no one violates. If the athletes still see themselves as coached by the Johnsons and are still contacting them, you can point to any order you care to and it amounts to nothing.
It requires a extreme credulity to think the Johnsons are not still directly connected to the program. It has been documented publicly. And to try to separate an apparent doping violation from the recent allegations that they were running a program with doping as a feature is pointless. Like I said, it reflects at the least a significant loss of institutional control.

A stretch at best. You can’t deny there is a no contact order and even indirect contact is illegal. Unless you believe the state is somehow ignoring this it’s not true.
Doping? What did Halie test positive for? Still no documented proof or your claims.
”well documented” in this message board. A reliable source from a bunch of women hating losers.
im feel sorry for the victims. That’s it. A lot of false flags based on personal bias. Just sad really

As someone who is involved in the system related to no contact orders:
Orders are just pieces of paper
A huge percentage of no contact orders are violated—especially when the protected party initiated the contact
A small fraction of these violations get reported to law enforcement, much less referred then for charges by the state. In many jurisdictions, if the protected party initiates the contact, nothing ever comes of the violation regardless of who is aware of it
I’ve followed this thread with interest, and it’s rich that LydiaRuns is accusing people of bias, etc. here when she’s one of the two posters here who clearly have an ax to grind.

Haile is a guy and he tested positive at XC for nationals for a ped. The fact that you thought he was someone named Hailey shows you really aren’t as informed on the situation as you should be to be posting this much. It has nothing to do with you being a female, just that you are uninformed. And yes, it has been confirmed to those in the know that Haile did test positive for a ped. I know you’ll say where the public statement to support this but that’s not how the naia works like it or not. There are also rumors of 2 other athletes at HU (one being fairly high profile) with positive drug tests over the past few weeks. These are just rumors so I won’t be saying any names but don’t be surprised if you see some more names coming off the track roster for the spring.

I am guessing that you think I am one of the two that has an "ax to grind". Please explain to me why you think so. I have no personal ties whatsoever to this situation. I knew nothing about the backstory until the Rojo started this thread. My first post was a simple "feel me in" type of question where I asked if all this was in the allegation phase, investigation phase, or near the sentencing phase. Tons of people responded by jumping down my throat like I was a 3 headed monster for even asking such a thing.
I have simply been an advocate of due process instead of message board heresay, whereas most people here clearly prefer the latter (though, interestingly, several have backed off significantly from their earlier stances). Although a person may be guilty of some things (even terrible things), that does not necessarily mean they are guilty of ALL accusations. Do you disagree? Further, in a situation like this one inHuntington, there can (and are) many parties that contribute to the mess. Is that so hard to understand or somehow wrong to hold such a position?
Despite consistent shade being thrown my way (just because I disagree with maybe 10%, at most, of the popular sentiment), I have been cordial in return. I have avoided ad hominem and peddling other disingenuous and fallacious "arguments" like people have thrown my way. My wife and I both ran collegiately. We have 3 kids in college right now (2 of them runners). I was not even aware of Huntington's existence until a couple of months ago. In contrast, a poster above (EveryoneKnew), is a coach from a competitor school of Huntington's. I believe many others in this thread have some sort of connection with Huntington, yet I apparently am the one with an ax to grind. What a joke.
A few pages ago, a poster actually did answer some questions regarding the rules or protocols in place around administering injections, which I appreciated. Also, there have been a handful of objective and solid posts from others that I have highlighted. Other than that, however, perhaps you should take another look at who exactly is "grinding axes". I have posed several questions, like 1) Do we collectively still think due process and investigations into accusations are necessary? 2) Do you think the Johnsons hold sway over the Huntington police as well as the District Attorney of Indiana? These questions and several others have not been addressed, but I'm confident it's because we all know the answers (if we're honest). There are reasons why the PD and District Attorney have not arrested Johnson for raping Stoffel even though she made formal complaints. It is a stretch to conclude the authorities have not because Johnson has some leverage over them, or that they just haven't wanted to. If anything, I bet they (along with the rest of us) would love to nail Johnson, if they could. But, whatever... you guys can continue believing in your conspiracy theories. I am sure Nick Johnson is super powerful there in Indiana and an irresistible cult leader. lol
So, again, Notactuallyme, please expand on why / how you are determining that I have an ax to grind. Thanks in advance.

The fact that I had no idea who Hailie was a guy suggest that I am in no way connected to this school. To me this thread is more about exploration of young women. Forgive me if I thought this person was a woman. So this guy tested positive for god knows what, was he raped too? Apparently the Johnsons are capable of it according to this thread.
it appears to me everyone is attacking anyone who has questions. A lot of butt hurt individuals (pun intended) because they somehow feel slighted. Honestly I just want the women to have a voice and this has become an attack on those who are having a hard to to understand motives.
Also I find it hilarious how all these haters ignore any question that magnify their hate. They choose to only focus on making attacks and for some reason they feel the need to attack victims (Abby and others) and want the school to apparently be banned from everything. The most hilarious part about all of this is if it weren’t for this thread, 99.9% of us wouldn’t even know about Huntington. I googled it and Steve Alford, a basketball player from the 80s, was the number one result. I live in Colorado now and this thread only got my attention because I was interested as to why Abby decommitted, but I have an “ax to grind” because I question misogynist who only want to victim fame and over compensate for their own shortcomings.
It’s “Addy”. You’re going to continue to speak on the whole situation so at least get the names correct.
Again, focus on something that has no relevance to any of the many questions you refuse to acknowledge. Please continue to be a troll and prove my point. Keep making assumptions as though it’s fact and continue to victim shame women, you clearly have an “ax to grind” against this school for some reason or another and it’s clear to anyone not wearing blinders.

You’re right. I wouldn’t know Huntington existed if it weren’t for the criminal activity of their former coach.
