Obviously the delay meant everyone was running a lot later in the day than they had planned, but the conditions were about as good as you could ever hope for in Louisiana in May. 1600 started at about 8:00 pm and the 3200 at about 10:30. Temps in the low 70s. Comfortable 1-2 finishes in both events for Jesuit, and while the times were pretty good for a state meet I'm a bit surprised they couldn't break any of the state meet records.
The biggest shock for me was the 4x800 team finishing 8th. I don't know how you can perfect score the state CC meet and then lose a 4x8 by 30 seconds.
