She was 8 weeks pregnant at worlds which makes it pretty impressive she made it to semis during the hardest part of pregnancy
Ha, that’s impressive but also seems dangerous for the pregnancy unless she didn’t know she was pregnant, which would also seem slightly surprising for someone eight weeks in and presumably otherwise menstruating. Congratulations anyway!
She literally could have been a few weeks a long and very well didn’t even know . Math isnt that hard to back tract. Early March for a due date isn’t a definite date. REGARDLESS, congrats to her and her husband
Not knowing has no bearing on being pregnant. The point being, she would have been pregnant at worlds with an early March due date and if it were in Texas her child would have technically competed at Worlds too!
Good timing on her part if she is trying to be back for the Olympics.in '24. That's the second thing I thought of after I thought, great news!
Go ahead and post the list of all the US middle distance women that have returned to full form or made a team after childbirth. I can think of one, sort of.

not USA but Faith had a baby in 2018. In 2019 she won silver to Sifan.

Congrats to her and even more respect! No idea how she could run like that at 8 weeks pregnant. Both of my pregnancies I was throwing up multiple times a day at 8 weeks...
Congrats to her growing family. Their child will have some interesting videos of mom to view in the future. I can only imagine the fun it would be to show my child I raced in the Olympics!
