We do agree way more than not, for sure. I also will say this, I watch almost everything that is ever on, almost. I grew up in the John Walker hay day and the Euro meets pre DL etc.( by a long time), were packed as I remember them. Now? ehh, you will get 1-2 full houses, but many of those meets, even are not nearly sell outs. Its a shame. Dream miles were the thing... Tom Byers as the rabbitt running away from the field when no one would go with him..Oh well, LOL Epic.
Do not confuse Entry Info or earlier reported info as current state of affairs. That's pretty friggin vague, I agree.
Don't confuse confirmed entries with your own opinion
As I had said above...Entries are entries.. Confirmed Starting Lists are a bit of a misnomer..there are often scratches or changes. Kessler is out of the 5th Ave . Mile. He is not injured, If I were surmising, I think the long stay 38 days in Europe, flight back, then another flight Mi. to NYC and back, just a bit much at end of a long year. I thought the last race was indicative of a tired guy, no excuses, just a view, I watched it four times trying to piece splits and stuff together, but as you guys know he was out of the screen a lot. I think the really bad tactic of not getting off the line and shuffled back and then running too hard through guys with some tough traffic took a lot out of him to get near the front. I also think that once you are "on the other side" of fitness (you can really only do Maintenance work, not real crushing fitness improving workouts when racing every week)without a lot or tons of miles under you, it goes away quick. Pretty clearly his best day for a fast 1500M would have been the 1:46.x 50 minutes rest ,and then pretty comfortable 3:58.x mile. Just some info for any interested. Hope all are well!
