Love Monson, and great performance, but WTF was that arms out slow down celebration allowing herself to get nipped at the line…

What a shame. It would have been perfect if she hadn't eased up at the line.

Forgot she ran 8:31 indoors and 14:31 ... so maybe you DID see this coming, LOL. And yeah, that was a Huddle-like gaffe at the end, so points subtracted there.

But weren't they all in a women's race?

I actually watched the race and didn't have much more to give as far a kick. Only thing she could have done to win was lean at the tape instead of putting her hands out. She didn't purposely slow down, she was at max as far as a kick is concerned

Great race by Monson right up to the premature celebration. She lost by .01, so putting her arms out like cost her the race. Almost certain munsoned herself.

Her form is so smooth too, she is deceptive doesnt look like she is moving that fast, in any case great race, great time.

So did she beat Cranny? And no American Record?
