Do you realize you’re talking about a team that lost not 1, but TWO low sticks?
For a team that graduated this kind of duo, they are actually doing really well. A couple of their seniors probably didn’t have their best race today either. I think they could challenge for being the best team in CO along with Valor and CT.
Mountain Vista seems to have some interest in entering the chat. They lost 5 seniors but they had some seniors that were JV last year probably working hard over the summer and are scoring really well. They returner Downs/Anderson obviously and seemed to have found a 3-7 and even beyond that.
Cheyenne mountain doesn’t seemingly look to be in contention right now, but with Leavings back and some other guys stepped up and created some depth, we just don’t know anymore.
All we do know is Cheyenne mountain won’t get 2nd at nationals like they did last year, and that the second NXN spot behind Herriman is still up for grabs
