Who care why he was slow. He wasnt a factor in the Olympic Marathon either. He hasn't been a factor for years. You are truly delusional to think otherwise. Tell me the last important marathon he podiumed and I'll tell you it was years ago.
You obviously run very, very slow and have never made an effort hard enough to get injured, so you're clueless and should stay on the sidelines.
Galen was injured and stopped during part of the race...I was there spanky. Try working out harder so you really know what hard running feels like. Good luck!

Chicago 2021.
My take on today from a Team USA “racing” standpoint is that it was it was our best global race in years. No DNFs and everyone was in the lead pack for quite a while — past halfway?

Ackley beat me to it. Yes AP500, you described yourself perfectly, delusional. Seek help old man.
Yeah, when I saw he got 19th place, I was expecting 2:20, not 2:09. 2:09 is amazing all things considered!
that is exactly what I thought as well. I remember we had Scott Fauble at Boston 2:08 high this year and half the running community was going around like it was some major redemption, best race of his career, etc. but here we still had Rupp looking like he was just really not well and then running 2:09.
I don’t know why anyone runs marathons competitively. It’s a lot of running to train for the event itself that is already more than a week’s worth of running for most people at a pace they can’t hold for one lap. Cycling is better: the legs recover quicker, cyclists look cooler, and the routes are more scenic.
All they want to do is their daily 10 miler then play x box and post tik toks the rest of the day and then have the nerve to complain about no brand offering them a living wage to go run another 2:13 marathon
Almost correct.
any current US marathoner can’t race… all they know is timetrials , charge they phone, stretch, be bisexual , eat hot chip & lie

I'm with you! These people don't understand: Rupp runs to win, not time trial. He have the ARs at 15k, 10M, 20k, HM, 25k, and the Marathon as soon as he decides to get them.
